Eric Tannenbaum pays a return visit to the WWC. Hear what it takes to become a champion. NCAA runner-up, three time All American, Big Ten Champion and Illinois State Champion. Not only does Eric have outstanding technique and great intensity... he is smart and continuing his studies @ UM in medical school. Tyrel Todd put on one heck of a clinic yesterday @ the WWC. The athletes responded well and were exposed to some great technique! There is no doubt this 3 time All American, Big Ten Champion and 3 time State Champion will be representing the US Olympic Team. Wow great job. The guys really brought their A game last night.

Ty went over positioning and creating angle. He followed up with passing the elbow to a High C and single. he continued his technique to his powerful blast double. Coming from a post finishing with a T-step. His last part of the technique portion was single leg finishes. If you have not seen his "block and club?" you better come on out and see what it is all about! Ty finished up the session with a nice hard grind for 20 minutes followed with some intense conditioning.

You all thought I was the only one who liked to grind you up. Intensity wins! Great Job Ty. See you in a couple of weeks.

We had over 30 guys in the room. We picked up a few new student athletes from Woodhaven. We have about 55 in all. It is not too late to be part of the best pre-season training in the state. Look for Ty to return to the WWC on October 22nd. Look for NCAA runner -up Eric Tannenbaum next week. Coach McFarland is looking to head up a session as well. Congrats on the new facility- wow what a Gem!

Wow what a session! Bret Marsh, Zac Stevens and Chad Bleske ran an excellent training session for us today! Come and see what it is all about. Zac and Bret went over single legs and high crotch. Chad worked on single and double leg as well. Very well done... nice job guys. I can see why Coach McFarland is big on these Michigan wrestlers.

Tyrel Todd will run the session on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. You do not want to miss these sessions.

We have enjoyed a great relationship with the University of Michigan Wrestling program. A big thanks goes out to head Michigan coach Joe McFarland. He and a great number of his current wrestlers come on down to instruct these young wrestlers. The list is too long to list every All-American and current star with Uof M. It is safe to say we have had many big time names in our room. All Americans, NCAA Champions, US World Team Members and US Olympians.

We run a fundamentally sound wrestling club. No club in Michigan offers this type of coaching and training! Where in the country can you have your begining wrestler mentored by a master of the sport. and train in one of the finest college wrestling rooms in the nation?

WWC up and running for Fall
We had a nice group today. We had twenty five athletes in the room. Not bad considering our first official session begins Thursday! Welcome once again to Salem High School. Coach Wochuck we appreciate your support every year. We are just getting started - Salem, Pioneer, Brighton, Detroit Catholic Central, Huron High school, Chelsea, Dexter, Novi, Bellville, Lincoln HS... and so. sorry if we missed anyone out there. We have state Champions, State place winners and a large group of up and coming champions for 2009-10 season.

We are currently running our sessions out the the old St Thomas HS Gymnasium. We have room for 85 student athletes. We are well over 46 athletes so so far. Do not miss out on the best High School club in the country! This is the Michigan's only Charter Member USA Regional Training Site.
Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman training year round. We hope to rotate practices out of three locations- St Thomas, University of Michigan and our new year round training facility.

Jeff Marsh, former Michigan standout and 2X Michigan State Champ, put on one heck of a session this past Monday. He worked on defending your legs with great position and taking advantage of your opponents mistakes.

Last Tuesday Michigan- 2 X All American, NCAA Runner-up- Steve Luke ran the session. His single leg technique is unmatched!

Yesterday- Michigan- 2 x All American,- Tyrel Todd ran the session. He went over his double leg series. Man these guys are absolute studs.

Where else in Michigan can you get that caliber of wrestler in your room. This is a daily occurance for WWC.

I have to tell you this club has it rocking & rolling. Conditioning, drilling, technique, grinding and mental preparation!

I have not even mentioned the level of high school talent in this room from over 15 local high school programs. Man this is great to see!

Are committed to becoming the next State and National Champion?

There is no Wrestling Club in the State of Michigan offering such a comprehensive training program. This program has been developed to work with individuals, teams, clubs and high school programs.

	We offer three distinct sessions; Pre-season, geared toward physical conditioning and technique development with the goal to hit your stride by the time the High School season begins. We offer two sessions a week.
	In Season; is geared toward technique, positioning, and competitive strategy. We offer one session a week to work in conjunction with your high school coach and program.
	One on one training; allows an individual to train and develop critical mental and physical toughness, while being mentored by the best coaching staff in the State of Michigan.
